A Silver or Gold level Florida Water Star℠ residential rating is for new and existing single-family residential units including condominiums and apartments. For Silver, a home meets specific criteria for landscape, irrigation, and indoor. To achieve Gold, a home meets added points in the landscape, irrigation, and indoor categories. This evaluation covers both Silver and Gold ratings depending on results achieved.
An inspector will check the property. If the property meets Florida Water Star℠ requirements, we award a Certificate of Compliance. If the property does not meet requirements, the evaluation results are issued.
Florida Water Star℠ inspections can be purchased on this website or directly from an approved Florida Water Star℠ inspector. If inspections are purchased here, we contact approved inspectors and let them know your project is available. We will then email you with the approved inspector for your project before they begin the project.
